What Boost actually does

Boost = an artificial bump that puts your listing at the top of search results for 3 or 7 days. The Vinted algorithm grants a temporary ranking boost, which translates into a big visibility lift.

How the algorithm factors in Boost

The Vinted algorithm ranks results using several signals (see our algorithm guide): recency, photo quality, listing completeness, seller reputation, popularity (favourites). Boost applies a multiplier on top of your base ranking score.

Concretely: your item shows up at the top of search results for the matching category / brand, with a visible "Boosted" badge.

– 7 days: about 1.99€ to 3€

Variation drivers: country, category (luxury costs more), demand (seasonality).

Optimal strategy

1. Boost high-margin items

2€ Boost cost = you need at least 10€ of extra margin for positive ROI. So items above 30€ are ideal candidates.

2. Boost before seasonal peaks

Swimsuit before June, coat before October = max audience, competition not yet saturated.

3. Boost listings with perfect photos

Boost amplifies visibility. If photos are mediocre, conversion drops to zero and you waste money. Optimize photos BEFORE pushing up.

4. Combine Boost + offers to favouriters
