Why relist regularly
Vinted favors recent listings in its search algorithm. An item posted 7+ days ago is nearly invisible in the feed.
Relisting = delete the old item and create a new one (views/favorites reset to 0), but the listing climbs back to the top of the "recent" feed. Benefit: fresh buyers see it.
Recommended cadence: relist every 3-7 days depending on your niche.
Method 1 — Manual (free, slow)
Go to your Vinted item → "Relist" button → confirm. Vinted allows 3 free relists per item.
Pros: zero cost, zero tool.
Cons: 1-2 min per item. For 50 items = 50-100 min/day repeated every 3-5 days = massive time sink.
Beyond 3 relists, Vinted disables the button. You then have to manually delete the item and recreate it = 3-5 min per item = 2.5-4h for 50 items. Not workable.
Method 2 — Semi-automatic (free extension)
A Chrome extension (Redrip, Vintup, etc.) automates the "Relist" click. You open the extension, select the items to relist, click "Relist all" once.
Pros: free (free extensions), 3-5x faster than by hand, keeps you in control.
Cons: still manual — you have to open the extension every day.
Beyond Vinted's 3 native relists, some extensions (Redrip) automatically recreate the listing (delete then publish a copy) = unlimited relists.
Method 3 — Fully automatic (cyclic Auto Pilot)
A Chrome extension with "Auto Pilot" runs in the background. You set: "relist X items every Y minutes, between 7-9 PM, except Fridays." The extension relists with no input from you.
Pros: zero daily effort, runs while you live your life.
Cons: requires an extension that supports this mode (Redrip, Bleam, Clemz, Dotb). Free plans are limited, Pro plans $6-20/month.
Safe cadence recommendation: 5 min between cycles, 3 items per cycle, 3 min pause between items, 7-9 PM window, max 1 relist/item/day.
Anti-shadowban cadences
Vinted detects overly regular patterns. To stay safe:
– Random jitter between actions (not exactly every 5 min)
– Min 3 min pause between two relists
– Cap at 30-50 relists/day max
– Daytime hours only
– No relisting of items with no favorites (abnormal signal)
Good extensions apply these cadences by default.
Verdict
If you sell fewer than 10 items: method 1 manual is enough.
If you sell 10-50 items: method 2 semi-auto (Redrip free, 50 relists/month).
If you sell 50+ items: method 3 Auto Pilot (Redrip Pro unlimited $20/month or equivalent).
