Control Redrip from your phone

How it works

The Redrip extension runs on your computer, in Chrome, where your Vinted session is open. Your phone shows the Redrip dashboard and sends your instructions: the computer receives them and carries them out within seconds, with its own session.

Your Vinted password never goes through the phone or our servers: only the instruction ("relist these 5 items", "reply to this message") travels.

Before you start, on the computer

• Chrome is open, with the Redrip extension installed.
• You are signed in to your Redrip account and your Vinted account in that Chrome, with a Vinted tab open.
• The computer stays on and awake. The window can be minimised.

Step 1: open the dashboard on your phone

Scan this QR code with your phone camera, or type redrip.app/dashboard.html in your browser. Sign in with the same Redrip credentials as on the computer.

Step 2: add it to your home screen

On iPhone (Safari)

1. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
2. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
3. Tap Add.

On Android (Chrome)

1. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
2. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
3. Confirm.

The Redrip icon appears on your home screen. It opens full screen, like an app.

What you can do from your phone

• Relist items, publish drafts, change a price or a title, hide or delete a listing.
• Read and reply to your messages, accept, decline or counter an offer.
• Follow your Activity, earnings and shipments.
• Turn your automations on or off (relisting, messages to favourites, boost).
• Get the shipping labels of your new sales on your phone, ready to show at the drop-off point.

Good to know

• If the computer is off or asleep, instructions are not carried out: switch it back on and Chrome takes over again.
• Several Vinted accounts: each Chrome profile carries out the instructions for its own account. See connect multiple accounts.
• To get the latest version of the dashboard, close the app and open it again.

Frequently asked questions

Does the computer need to stay on?

Yes. The extension on the computer is what acts on Vinted. The phone sends the instructions, the computer carries them out. It must stay on, awake, with Chrome open.

Do I need to download an app from the App Store or Play Store?

No. Redrip is added to your home screen from the browser in a few seconds, without any store.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes: Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, or any recent browser.

Do my Vinted credentials go through the phone?

No. The phone never sees your Vinted password. It only sends the instruction, which the computer carries out with its session.
