I'm the developer of Redrip, one of the two tools compared here. I try to stay factual — Dotb is a serious competitor with real strengths. You'll find the "possible bias" note on my own extension so you can weigh it accordingly.
Dotb and Redrip at a glance
Dotb (dotb.io) is an established Chrome extension for Vinted sellers. It runs a freemium model: a limited free tier, then paid plans from €5.99 to €209.99/month depending on features and the number of accounts. Dotb claims more than 10,500 Vinted sellers, support in 8 languages, and a polished marketing site with a video demo. Its catalogue is broad: an AI Agent for auto-replies, Repost Listings, Auto Messages, a Dressing Panel, Bulk Image Editing, Cross-Account Management and a Stock Management System.
Redrip (redrip.app) is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3, partially open source), 100% free with no freemium trap. It covers automatic relisting, a scheduled 24/7 auto mode, AI buyer replies in 9 languages (via your own OpenAI key), targeted following, a unified inbox + sales dashboard, and automatic offers to people who favorite your items. It runs on Chrome, Brave, Edge and Arc, stores all data locally, and applies safe-calibrated cadences by default.

Pricing: the big difference
This is what separates the two tools the most. Dotb follows a freemium model: the free tier lets you test, but it caps the number of reposts per day. For serious seller use, you need a paid plan — from €5.99/month for the first tier up to €13.99, €24.99, €59.99, €119.99 and €209.99/month for the most complete tiers, usually multi-account. The more features and accounts you want, the higher the bill.
Redrip is 100% free, forever. No tiers, no paywalled cap, no credit card at install. The only indirect "cost": AI replies go through your own OpenAI key, so you pay your own tokens directly to OpenAI (a few cents) — but the extension itself charges you nothing.
In short: if your budget is zero, Redrip is unbeatable. If you're willing to pay for features like bulk image editing or multi-account, Dotb justifies its price.
Privacy: local vs cloud
Redrip stores 100% of its data locally, in the browser's storage. Your listings, your conversations, your auto mode configuration: nothing transits through a third-party server, nothing is kept on remote infrastructure. For a privacy-sensitive seller, that's a strong argument — the exposure surface is kept to a minimum.
Dotb, by contrast, relies on cloud infrastructure for part of its functionality (notably multi-account and syncing). That's not a flaw in itself — it's what enables some advanced features — but data handling is mechanically less transparent than a local-only model. If you want to know exactly where your data lives, Redrip's local model is simpler to audit.
Who is Dotb for?
Dotb is the right pick for power sellers: large catalogues, multiple accounts, the need to edit dozens of images at once, structured stock management. If your Vinted activity is semi-pro or pro and you're willing to put a monthly budget into the tool, Dotb's feature ecosystem will save you time. The large user base and multilingual support are reassuring too.
Who is Redrip for?
Redrip is the right pick for sellers who want 100% free, privacy-first, safe-by-default. Individual sellers and small pros, privacy-conscious, who prefer a sober interface and already-calibrated cadences over a Swiss-army knife to configure. If you don't need bulk image editing or multi-account, Redrip covers the essentials without costing you a cent.
Both remain legitimate Chrome extensions using Vinted's public endpoints. For the grey area around the terms of service and the real risks, see our dedicated article.
Try Redrip for free
If you're hesitating, start with the free option. Redrip installs from the Chrome Web Store, no signup, no credit card, no freemium trap. Test automatic relisting, AI replies and the dashboard — and if you need to go further, you can always look at Dotb afterwards.

Is Dotb really free?
Dotb offers a free tier, but it caps the number of reposts per day. For real seller use, you need a paid plan that starts at €5.99/month and goes up to €209.99/month on the multi-account tiers.
Does Redrip have bulk image editing?
No, not yet. Redrip focuses on relisting, scheduled auto mode, AI replies and the dashboard. Bulk image editing and built-in stock management are areas where Dotb is more advanced.
Which one is safer for my Vinted account?
Both use Vinted's public endpoints. Redrip applies safe-calibrated cadences by default (jitter, pauses, daily cap) and stores everything locally. With Dotb, safety mostly depends on your configuration and how much you moderate your volume.
Can you use Dotb and Redrip at the same time?
Technically yes, they are two separate extensions. But it's not recommended: two tools relisting in parallel on the same account multiply automated actions and increase the risk of abnormal cadence. Pick one.
How do you migrate from Dotb to Redrip?
Uninstall Dotb, install Redrip from the Chrome Web Store. Your listings, conversations and sales live on Vinted's side, not in the extension: no data migration is needed. Just reconfigure your auto mode in Redrip.
