Vinted bundle: how to offer one and sell more

Why bundles work

Vinted charges the Buyer Protection Fee (BPF) ONCE on a multi-item bundle, not per item. For a bundle of 4 items at €5, the buyer saves 3 BPFs (~€5 saved).

On the seller side: 1 parcel = 1 shipping cost for you (or included in your price). Margin boosted.

Observed stats: bundles increase the average basket by 80-150% vs. single-item sales.

How to offer a bundle

Mode 1: Buyer initiates

The buyer can select multiple items from your profile → click "Buy as a bundle" → Vinted asks you for an overall price. You accept or counter-offer.

Mode 2: You proactively offer

Message to a buyer who has liked several items: "Hi, you've liked X and Y, I can do both for €Z as a bundle, shipping included." High conversion (40-60%).

Optimal bundle pricing

Rule: discount 10-20% off the total of the individual item prices. Example: 3 items at €10 = €30, bundle at €25 (-17%).

The bigger the discount, the more likely the bundle closes. But under 15% = not enough perceived incentive.

For €5 items: do a €12 bundle for 3 (-20%). For €20 items: €50 for 3 (-17%).

Sample messages that convert

"Hey @user, you've liked several items. If you'd like both X and Y, I can do a bundle price of €Z, shipping included. Have a great day!"

"Hi, I noticed you followed me. If any of my items interest you as a bundle, just let me know — I always offer discounts."

Avoid too many emojis + don't open with an overly casual "Hey" on first contact.

Mistakes to avoid

Bundle not discounted enough: no buyer incentive. Aim for 15-20% minimum.

Refusing systematically: you lose a certain sale hoping for a hypothetical full price. Bundles close ~70% of the time when offered properly.

Bundle of incompatible items (men's + women's + baby): the buyer doesn't want everything. Filter by category/size.

No quick reply: 80% of bundles close within 4 hours. Beyond that, the buyer has forgotten or found elsewhere.
