Use cases

1. You're reworking your wardrobe

You're reorganizing all your photos / descriptions. Prevents buyers from seeing a "half-renovated" state in the meantime.

2. You're pausing your activity without vacation mode

Vacation mode blocks purchases. Private wardrobe = same effect but without a visible badge. Preferable for an unscheduled pause.

3. You sell in a closed circuit

Private shop for regular customers you share via link. Discreet, controlled.

4. Relaunch strategy

Toggling off then back on the wardrobe = Vinted "reindexes" your listings as new. Temporary boost effect, but not officially documented.

Drawbacks

– Your sales drop to 0 while enabled (no public audience)
– No new favorites (other than from direct shares)
– No impulse buys

Differences with vacation mode

Vacation mode = visible with a badge + purchases blocked. Private wardrobe = totally invisible, direct link only.
