The 10 most common reasons

1. Your photos don't grab attention

Blurry shots, bad framing, poor lighting = scroll. Use natural light, neutral background, 4-5 photos minimum from every angle. Main photo = the most flattering one.

2. Your title is too generic

"Blue jeans" vs "Levis 511 slim jeans W30 L32 washed blue vintage" → the second one catches 3x more searches. Include brand + model + size + color + condition.

3. Your price is too high

Search similar items that sold. If your price is 20%+ above market, you won't sell. Fix: price slightly below the median + accept offers.

4. Description too short

Vinted buyers actually read. Precise measurements (length, width, height), composition, any defects = trust = sale.

5. Item not bumped

Vinted favors recent listings. Items older than 7 days have vanished from search results. Fix: relist via the "Relist" button (free up to 3x) or via Redrip auto.

6. Wrong category

"T-shirt" filed under "Dress" = no one finds it. Double-check categorization every time.

7. No brand specified

Empty brand field = filtered out of "brand" searches. Add the brand even for unbranded items ("other").

8. You're selling in a seasonal lull

Selling swimsuits in December = wait it out. Store and relaunch in the right season (March-June for summer, September-November for winter).

9. Profile not credible

0 reviews, no photo, empty description = buyers hesitate. Polish the profile before pushing volume.

10. Shadowbanned account

If your views suddenly drop and stay at 0-2, you may be shadowbanned. See our shadowban guide.

2. Redo photos + titles + descriptions.
3. Relist via Redrip auto.
